Volunteering with The East West Foundation
Volunteering with the Foundation is a two-way street. The community and the children at UCH benefit from your skills and expertise. Equally importantly you are enriched by exposure to a mix of ancient and modern value systems, culture and a way of life you may not be used to.

What can I do as a volunteer?
Most of our volunteering opportunities are in India
-
The two broad areas we are involved in are “Rural Health” and “Community Education”.

Obviously health care, education and community development professionals would find ready outlet for their skills.
-
There is plenty of scope for other professionals and skills too – engineering, electronics, IT, building and equipment maintenance, training locals in the above, accounting and audit, legal etc.
Further details are available on the 'Volunteer Programme ' page. If you can't find what you are looking for please contact us as specific skills requirements can vary from time to time. We can structure a program that meets our need and your expertise.
